Upload a datalog and this reads it the way a dyno operator would — working out the power and torque your car is actually putting down, from the pull you just did on the road. Free to use, no account needed.

How it works

  1. Do a pull and save the log. Third or fourth gear, flat road, full throttle from about 2,500 RPM to redline.
  2. Upload the CSV. We scan it and find every wide-open-throttle pull in the file.
  3. Pick your run. Analyse one, or overlay several to compare — 93 against E85, before against after.
  4. Read the chart. Power, torque and boost across the RPM range, corrected for the weather in your log. Download it or send it to Mike.

What you need

  • A datalog in CSV form — Cobb Accessport is what most people use. Needs RPM, throttle, vehicle speed and time in the file.
  • One real pull in it. At least 95% throttle, above 2,000 RPM, held for 3 seconds or more, covering at least 1,000 RPM. Lift early and that run won't count.
  • Your car's details. Vehicle, mod level, fuel, weight, driver weight and the gear you pulled in — the maths needs all six.
  • Nothing else. No account, no software, no cost. Weather correction is read straight out of the log.

πŸ“‹ HOW TO GET ACCURATE RESULTS
1 Full Throttle Only: Hold throttle at 100% from 2500+ RPM to redline. Any lift will end the run early.
2 Use 3rd or 4th Gear: Lower gears cause clutch slip. Higher gears accelerate too slowly for accurate readings.
3 Flat Road Required: Hills skew results. Uphill shows less power, downhill shows inflated numbers.
4 Enter Correct Weight: Include driver, passengers, fuel, and cargo. Every 100 lbs = ~3-5 HP difference.
5 Multiple Runs Detected: We find all valid pulls in your log. Pick your best run or compare them all.
6 Verify Tire Size: Wrong tire diameter = wrong speed = wrong HP. Enable auto-detect to check yours.
7 Weather Matters: Hot air = less power. Enable SAE correction to normalize for temperature and altitude.
